Privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
The BeeVille game does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking. The game saves your farm on your device, and it stays there. If you join the waitlist on this website, we store your email address until you ask us to remove it.
This policy covers the BeeVille app for iPhone and this website, beeville.app.
Who is responsible
Walter Media AB makes BeeVille and is the data controller for this policy.

The game
- The game saves your farm on your device only. We cannot see it, and we cannot restore it if you delete the app.
- The game does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos.
- The game has no advertising, analytics or tracking code, and we do not share or sell data.
Apple
You download BeeVille, and make any in-app purchases, through Apple's App Store. Apple processes that data under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your payment details. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple gives us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you. You can turn this off under Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.
This website
beeville.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Cloudflare hosts it and processes your IP address and request headers to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The waitlist form also uses your IP address, without storing it, to limit how often it can be sent. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, whether you ticked the playtest box, and the date you signed up. We use it only to email you about BeeVille's playtest and launch, and never share it with anyone except as described here.
- If you ticked the playtest box, we may invite you to test early builds through Apple's TestFlight. To do that we give your email address to Apple, which sends the invite. Apple's privacy policy covers TestFlight, which shares crash reports and any feedback you send with us.
- We keep the list in a Cloudflare D1 database that stores its data in the EU.
- The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to hello@beeville.app, and we will delete your address.
- We delete the whole list no later than 12 months after BeeVille launches.
When you email us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply, and keep them only as long as needed to help you and meet legal or accounting obligations. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions about our game.
Children
BeeVille is for players of all ages. Because the game collects no personal data, it collects none from children either. The waitlist is for people aged 13 and over. If your child has joined the waitlist or emailed us and you want that deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@beeville.app. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If the game or the waitlist starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above before the change ships.
